25 November the YellowRockets coworking space hosted the final pitch session of an acceleration programme for projects developing solutions for the space and aircraft industry.
31 October Dmitry Azarov, acting Governor of Samara Oblast, visited the new YellowRockets coworking space. The largest office for ambitious innovative projects, set up by the team of StartupSamara, a regional innovations centre, opened for business this autumn.
The accelerator is open to startups that use the blockchain technology in their projects and to industry experts. The former will receive investments and expert advice, and the latter real-life challenges from the market and access to Universa Blockchain Platform for tackling them.
The company YellowRockets is now officially affiliated with a major global startup accelerator, MassChallenge. Yellow Rockets will help technology projects from Russia and neighbouring countries to qualify for bridge programmes and advise on working with the international accelerator.
30 June Samara was visited by Lev Khasis, first deputy chair of the management board of PAO Sberbank.
YellowRockets has been conferred with an award in the Sponsor of the Year category by the Internet Initiative Promotion Foundation. This company has been granted this status for its efforts to make available an Online Entrepreneurship course and its sponsorship of students setting up and growing their startups. The award is conferred annually as part of the Russian Youth Online Entrepreneurship Russian national forum.
